Temperatures are expected to drop below freezing Tuesday night, which could create a tricky travel situation.

AUSTIN, Texas — Most schools across Central Texas were closed Monday and Tuesday due to Martin Luther King Jr. Day and a rare winter storm. With below-freezing temperatures expected to continue, some districts have already announced their plans for Wednesday.

Above-freezing temps should help clear roads Tuesday, but any lingering precipitation could refreeze Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. With that, some campuses and school districts have already closed or delayed classes.
