AUSTIN, Texas — It’s almost that time of year when professional cowboys and cowgirls return to Austin for its annual rodeo.
This year’s festivities take place from March 14-29, and with just a few months away, the official list of musical acts has been shared.
On March 14, visitors can watch Jon Wolfe and Walker Montgomery perform during “Kick Open the Chutes.” Attendees older than 21 can enjoy a cash bar, and food trucks will also be available during this “party on the dirt” at the Travis County Exposition Center.
This year, other Rodeo Austin entertainment includes country performers like Texas native Braxton Keith, actor and singer Luke Grimes and Grammy Award-winning band La Mafia.

- La Mafia: 3 p.m. March 16
- Gary Allan: 7 p.m. March 17
- Charley Crockett: 7 p.m. March 18
- Walker Hayes: 7 p.m. March 19
- Luke Grimes: 7 p.m. March 20
- Randy Rogers Band: 7 p.m. March 21
- Ella Langley: 7 p.m. March 22
- Los Pescadores Del Rio Conchos: 3 p.m. March 23
- Bellamy Brothers: 7 p.m. March 24
- Robert Earl Keen: 7 p.m. March 25
- Dashboard Confessional: 7 p.m. March 26
- Ian Munsick: 7 p.m. March 27
- Tracy Lawrence: 7 p.m. March 28
- Southall: 7 p.m. March 29
The rodeo itself includes categories like steer wrestling, mutton bustin’, barrel racing and more.
While the rodeo doesn’t start for a few more months, customers can purchase tickets as soon as 10 a.m. Jan. 24, starting at $30 each.
