Katie Price has faced backlash from fans after the airing of the second episode of her Channel 4 documentary Katie Price: Making Babies.

The show follows her and her ex-fiancé Carl Woods through their IVF journey, but some viewers have labelled her actions as ‘disrespectful’.

Fans have pointed to moments in the episode where Katie appeared to downplay the emotional challenges of IVF, as well as questioning Katie’s behaviour surrounding the sensitive topic of fertility struggles.

Viewers were outraged at the scene where the mum-of-five sat down with her ex-fiancé Carl to discuss their donor options.

The couple opened up their laptop to review the possibilities, as Katie asked: “So, would you prefer curly hair or straight? I like curly.”

To which Carl responded, “I like straight.”

Katie continued, “Hobbies, you don’t like hiking, you hate reading and you don’t like classical and contemporary dance,” as Carl agreed.

The pair then dismissed a university-educated donor who “clearly isn’t us”. After Katie said: “Next one – oh you only like this one because she says she’s 24. Listen this isn’t a dating app.”

Before the scene ends Katie is seen quizzing Carl about the donors, by saying: “What’s the brainy one again? It might be nice to have a little nerd. Brain over beauty.”

Viewers have taken to X, formally known as Twitter to voice their opinion on the scene, in particular her ‘disrespectful’ attitude towards picking a donor.

One user stated: “No respect for those who have been on the IVF rollercoaster. I treasure my precious miracle who took 6 transfers. She makes a mockery of the IVF process. Shame on #Channel4 for giving her a platform” alongside multiple angry face emojis.

As another penned: “How does Katie Price do it? Owes money left right and centre. Drink driving. Bankruptcies and she can afford to have IVF. It seems so unfair to those who have no children and are desperate for a baby but can’t afford it.”

Whilst a third wrote: “Can’t believe that #channel4 think it’s appropriate to show #katieprice trying IVF. Lost so much respect for #channel4 now.”
