AUSTIN, Texas — A nationwide phone outage is impacting businesses across the Austin area.
RingCentral, a California cloud-based communications platform that provides companies with phone and messaging tools, confirmed the outage Wednesday afternoon.
The outage is impacting inbound and outbound calls for some businesses using RingCentral. While it’s unclear what’s causing the outage, RingCentral said it was “actively working” to resolve the outage soon.
According to RingCentral’s status tracker, hourly updates will be provided, or when a “significant change in status occurs.”
