A man has hit out after catching a thief stealing cat food from his doorstep. The Edinburgh resident was left furious over the incident, which took place last night.
Edinburgh Live reports the incident happened near Greendykes Road, in the city’s Craigmillar area, on January 21, 2025, and that he caught “a man nick cat food from his doorstep”.
He claims the male pinched the food after the delivery man had dropped it off. In the clip, that was shared with Edinburgh Live, the brazen individual appears to sneaks up to the door by ducking his head down.
He quickly picks up the cat food and runs away from the property. Warning others in the area of the incident, the resident said: “This dreg of a human being stole cat food from our front door today after the delivery guy left it.
“Please be careful in the EH16 4 area.” Back in December, Edinburgh Live reported on an Edinburgh pensioner being captured brazenly nabbing a Christmas wreath.
They took the decoration from a family home in The Calders. In the clip, the pensioner can be seen checking out the wreath before grabbing it from the top and taking off.
