WYOMING COUNTY, W.Va. – The Wyoming County Prosecutor, Gregory Bishop, said a Pineville man pled guilty to Attempt to Commit a Felony from a January 6 incident.

According to Bishop, on January 6, officers with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department responded to a burglary in progress in the East Pineville area. When officers arrived, a woman was detained and other officers went into the woods to look for 54-year-old Judd Stephen Reed, Bishop said.

Reed was eventually captured, and Bishop said an investigation revealed evidence of forced entry through the back door of the home.

Bishop said Reed will be sentenced in March, and could spend between 1-3 years in prison.
