Celtic will get back down to domestic matters after the high of Champions League play-off qualification on Wednesday.

The Hoops strained to a 1-0 win over Young Boys thanks to a late deflected goal made by substitute Adam Idah. Brendan Rodgers takes his troops to the knockout stages of Europe’s premier competition for the very first time under his tenure with a game to spare. The return of Nicolas Kuhn and Daizen Maeda was an added positive to his squad strength despite the latter’s reckless late red card.

It comes as a boost after Kyogo Furuhashi is set to seal an imminent move to French club Rennes for a fee of £10 million. Celts are looking to fill the void immediately but they will host the Dees without their favourite Japanese hitman.

Dundee meanwhile will look to build on their astonishing 3-3 draw with Celtic less than two weeks ago. Tony Docherty’s men were very close to snatching the win through Bhoys fan Aaron Donnelly before Arne Engels broke Dark Blue hearts with a late penalty. Docherty could give a debut to on-loan Mexico midfielder Victor Lopez as the signing race hots up before the deadline closes.
