BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – A nonprofit, The West Virginia Community Development Hub, has a program called Cultivate West Virginia, which offers 40 thousand dollars to communities to be used in several mini grants.
The Northside-East End community in the City of Bluefield was chosen as one of those communities.
Members of the group explained that this is a chance to leave behind a legacy for the next generation.
And so far, the community involvement has been great.
The next meeting is scheduled for February 22 at the Greater Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church’s Fellowship Hall from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. For more information on the grant, click here.
