An Aberdeen street has gone viral after patches of grass hit the market with a guide price of £1,000 each, prompting a TikToker to question if sellers were “taking the p***.”
The popular TikTok account Housing Horrors, known for showcasing bizarre UK properties, mocked the unusual listing on Wellside Circle in Kingswells. The three small strips of grass, currently available on Rightmove, are described as ideal for “parking and/or storage” and are set to go to auction on Thursday, January 30.
The listing gained widespread attention after singer and rapper Bushrod, who runs the Housing Horrors account with nearly 114,000 followers, shared it in a TikTok video that has since amassed nearly one million likes. In the video, he mocked the sale, saying: “You couldn’t even pay me a tenner to buy that bit of land.”

He jokingly suggested a hot dog stand could be set up on the grass but doubted the neighbors would approve, reports Aberdeen Live. Critiquing the claim that the land was suitable for parking, he added, “You can barely fit a motorbike on it.”
The post sparked a flurry of humorous comments from viewers, with one quipping, “It has got curb appeal though,” and another suggesting, “Could buy it to use for the dog’s toilet—never need to pick up again.”
Some saw the plots as an opportunity to annoy neighbors for profit. One user joked, “I’d do something to annoy the neighbor so he buys the land off me for more.” Another remarked, “In central London, that would go for £180,000.”
