DALLAS — A new luxury bus line will connect two suburban hot spots starting in February.
Vonlane, a Texas-based transportation company, is offering its first suburban route between fast-growing Plano and North Austin, according to a press release from the company.
The new route will have daily departures starting Feb. 28, the release states. The route will depart from Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West in Collin County and DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Austin Northwest Arboretum in Austin, the release states.
The trip will cost $109 one way in March and April. Starting in May, the fare will increase to $125, the normal base fare, not including taxes, baggage fees, or change fees.
Vonlane buses feature 22 first-class leather seats, space to work, complimentary WiFi and an onboard attendant offering cabin service with snacks, meals and beverages included, according to the press release.
“With the new direct service between North Dallas and North Austin, we’re bringing first-class travel closer to where people live, work, and play—something airlines can’t do,” Alex Danza, founder & CEO of Vonlane, said. “You’ll never have a better experience traveling along Interstate 35.”
Vonlane currently offers 500 weekly departures across eight cities — Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio, Atlanta, Nashville and Memphis.
