A 15-year-old boy was killed and a 16-year-old was wounded in a shooting in a Brooklyn apartment building Tuesday, police said.

The gunfire rang out in the building on E. 93rd St. near Rutland Road in East Flatbush just before 3:35 p.m., cops said.

When police responded, they discovered the younger boy in the building’s lobby suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The older boy was in a third-floor hallway, shot in the shoulder.

Medics rushed the 15-year-old to Kings County Hospital, where he died. His name was not immediately released.

The older teen was taken to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he is expected to recover.

Police are still searching for the shooter.
