Meghan Markle‘s close pal has hailed Prince Harry as a “wonderful” husband, amid rumours of a marital woes between the ex royal couple.
Author Lindsay Jill Roth has recently published a book titled Romances and Practicalities: A Love Story (Maybe Yours!) in 250 Questions, intended to delve deep into building more profound intimacy.
The book, which features her own romantic journey with wisdom from love gurus, gives a mention to the Duchess of Sussex, a friend since their first year at Northwestern University.
Lindsay voiced her appreciation for Meghan’s steadfast support, disclosing that the duchess has yet to discover her shout-out within the publication, as reported by the Irish star.
“I have saved that as a little token for her to see when the book comes out. I think it’s rare to find friends who love you unconditionally”, she remarked. While speaking to People Magazine, Lindsay expressed her pride at calling Meghan a friend.
Lindsay and Meghan’s friendship has stood the test of time, which has been evident in their support for one another. Back in 2015, Meghan took to Instagram to recommend Lindsay’s first novel, What Pretty Girls Are Made Of, branding it as the “best summer read”.
She hinted at a secret cameo in the novel, teasing: “You’ll have to read it to find out who I am!” Always advocating for the duchess, Lindsay also featured prominently in the Netflix series about Meghan and Harry’s life.

Lindsay tied the knot with Gavin Jordan in 2016, with Meghan stepping in as maid of honour, just a few years prior to Meghan’s own royal wedding to Prince Harry in 2018, two years before they left the UK behind.
Reflecting on both marrying British men, Lindsay emphasised that it’s their partners’ personalities that matter most, not their nationality. “I often get asked, ‘Is it really special that you both married Brits? ‘ What I always say is, ‘It’s special that we both married such wonderful people’,” she expressed.
She had nothing but admiration for her husband Gavin’s unwavering support throughout her ventures, adding: “He’s been along for the ride the whole time.”
