Video has captured the moment a lorry was engulfed in flames in a shock incident in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Emergency services responded to the lorry fire in West Lothian where think smoke was seen sising into the sky. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was called to the incident on Nairn Road in Livingston at 6:30am.
Two fire engines were dispatched to tackle the blaze, with crews successfully extinguishing the fire and leaving the scene by 7:28am.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire has yet to be determined, reports EdinburghLive.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted at 6:30 am on Wednesday, 29 January, to reports of a lorry on fire on Nairn Road, Livingston.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances to the scene, where crews worked to extinguish the fire. Crews left the scene at 7:28 am after ensuring the area was made safe.”
