DALLAS — Dallas Trinity FC has added another North Texas native to its squad, continuing its philosophy of building the club on local talent.
The professional women’s soccer team announced it had signed two-time All-American Texas Longhorns midfielder Lexi Missimo. Missimo, a Southlake native, rose to prominence playing for Solar SC in Allen before committing to UT for college.
In her career at UT, Missimo finished as the program’s all-time leader in points (176), assists (64), goals (56) in addition to being the program’s single-season leader in points (72, 2023), goals (26, 2023), assists (20, 2023), game-winning goals (9, 2023), penalty kicks (9, 2023) shots (126, 2023).
Missimo is one of five Division I women’s soccer players since 2000 to score 72 or more points in a single season. Her 72-point 2023 season marks the 15th-most points scored in a single season in Division I women’s soccer history.

Missimo joins Dallas Trinity FC for the spring portion of the club’s inaugural USL Super League season, where they rank second in the standings.

Missimo is set to make her debut for Dallas Trinity FC when the squad returns to action Saturday, Feb. 15 at 5:30 p.m. CT versus Tampa Bay Sun FC at the Cotton Bowl.
