Police said the game room was busted after months of surveillance related to illegal activity.

ROUND ROCK, Texas — Several people are facing criminal charges after an illegal game room was busted in Round Rock.

On Thursday, police executed a search warrant at Sky Digital Lounge along I-35 southbound near Hesters Crossing Road.

Police said the warrant followed months of surveillance related to illegal gambling. Once inside, officers seized 64 gambling machines, gambling proceeds and various paraphernalia and documents.

The social lounge was shut down as part of Round Rock police’s efforts to fight crime related to illegal game rooms. Police said the targeted operations are part of efforts to address other illegal activities in the area such as drug use and gambling.

Police said the criminal charges are pending and an investigation into the game room is ongoing. Meanwhile, police thanked the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in the bust.
