Perfumes are always a top gifting choice for a loved one on valentine’s Day, but scent preferences can vary from person to person.
With an abundance of bottles on the market these days, it can be hard to know what to go for. To save you the hassle, we have spotted one designer scent that is said to “smell good on anyone.”
It’s Dolce & Gabbana’s Q Eau de Parfum and it’s been slashed by up to 50 percent in Debenhams’ massive sale ahead of February 14. A 30ml is now £31.50, down from £63, or you could opt for a larger 50ml at £44.50, down from £89.

This fragrance for her mixes its floral scent with a strong woody base, creating a “refined” yet “bold” scent that is sure to be a standout. Its main notes are contrasting zesty Sicilian lemon and sour cherry, alongside jasmine petals, heliotrope, cedarwood and musk.
Despite the abundance of scents included, Q has been praised for its “soft” fragrance that is never too overpowering. The bottle itself is also a standout, as it is adorned with a regal cold crown topper to add to its luxury appeal.
On the Debenhams website alone, the Dolce & Gabbana fragrance has earned an impressive 4.3 rating from perfume fans who love its “unique” scent, with one even saying that they have been “stopped” in the streets to be asked what they were wearing.
One five-star review read: “This perfume is soooo nice! I love the scent. I think it could smell good on anyone. Will probably be purchasing once I run out of my current bottle of perfume! Love it.”
Someone else praised: “I loved this. It is so delicious and sexy at the same time. I think this is a great feminine perfume that any lady would love. The man in my life loved it as well!”

As is the case with many perfumes, the fragrance wasn’t too everyone’s profile, as one two-star review read: “More fruit and citrus forward than I prefer. My favorite perfume is Tom Ford Black Orchid. I wouldn’t recommend this perfume for those who like rich scents. Maybe a summer scent.”
