Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have snubbed the Grammy Awards once again after they were previously the brunt of a brutal joke made by show host Trevor Noah.

The prestigious awards ceremony was held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles yesterday evening, not far from the Sussexes’ mansion in Montecito. However, the formal royal couple were noticeably absent from the glitzy star studded event.

Their absence comes after Harry and Meghan were publicly roasted in 2023 by host Trevor Noah, which appears to have left a bitter taste in their mouth.

The Daily Show presenter, who also hosted this year’s 2025 Grammy Awards, made a gag at the pair’s expense back in 2023, following the release of Harry’s memoir Spare just weeks before.

In the duke’s tell-all book, he revealed he had frostbite on his private parts during a North Pole trip in 2011. Trevor made reference to this confession as he introduced James Corden to the stage in LA.

He told the audience: “(He) is living proof that a man can move from London to L.A. and not tell everyone about his frostbitten penis.”

Trevor had previously been a guest on Meghan’s former Spotify podcast Archetypes before it was cancelled, which turned out to be her last show before the series came to an abrupt end.

The Duchess of Sussex is currently focusing her attention on new projects with her Netflix docuseries ‘With Love, Meghan’ set to be released in March.

However, it’s feared the show could end up being a flop with bookies predicting that the series will be cancelled before it even takes off.

BetIdeas have given Meghan’s new Netflix documentary a strong chance of following in her podcast’s footsteps and being discontinued after its first season.

In the upcoming project, the former Suits actress is set to blend practical how-to’s and candid conversation with friends, new and old. She will also share personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection, and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected.

In addition to her TV show, Meghan returned to social media earlier this year for the first time since 2016. Last year, she launched her American Riviera Orchard brand and sent sample products out to a number of A-lister pals but the brand has remained quiet on her new Instagram account.
