A Grammys producer has responded to Bianca Censori‘s shocking see-through dress, insisting that it did “adhere to standards”.

Kanye West and his wife got the whole world talking as they made a statement on the red carpet of the Grammy Awards.

The couple arrived at the lavish music event and posed for the cameras when Bianca dropped her fur coat to reveal that she was wearing nothing underneath but a totally sheer dress and no under garments.

Rumours began to swirl that the couple were removed from the event by furious bosses and reports began to circulate that the pair could be reprimanded by police after the indecent exposure.

However, now following the stunt, an executive producer behind the 2025 Grammy Awards has explained the dress code for the event.

Raj Kapoor said that invites to the event suggest the dress code is “artistic black tie”. However, he admitted: “But in the music industry, I guess that’s up for interpretation.”

He told People: “Obviously there is a dress code for anybody actually performing on the show that we have to adhere to standards and practices.

“But as far as people attending and nominees attending, that would be something the [Recording] Academy [presents the Grammys] would have to answer.”

The stunt certainly got tongues wagging but many think that Bianca’s outfit is a nod to the cover of Kanye’s 2024 album, Vultures. In an update, Kayne posted a photo of the dress and simply said: “The invisible dress”.

He then posted: “For clarity February 4th 2025 My wife is the most Googled person on the planet called Earth.”

The rapper took aim at the award’s show as he added: “We beat the Grammies.”

His posts also seemed to be a dig at Kayne’s ex wife Kim Kardashian, who is arguably one of the most famous women in the world. When they were married, Kim would often make headlines across the world for her risqué outfit choices.

Kanye also revealed the shameless real reason for Bianca’s choice of garment on the red carpet.

Taking to Instagram, Kanye announced the launch of a women’s wear collection for his brand Yeezy – with an outfit Bianca wore on Grammy’s night the first garment to go on sale.

Ye announced the “first women’s piece” in a post on his Instagram account with a photo of a black thong bodysuit – identical to the one worn by Bianca at the Grammy’s afterparty, writes The Mirror.

Despite many thinking that there may be repercussions for their red carpet look, the Los Angeles Police Department informed TMZ on Monday that no formal complaints were made by anyone present at the Crypto.com Arena on Sunday evening.

The sources also highlighted that the annual awards show is a private event.

“While Ms. Censori’s outfit undoubtedly pushed the envelope, a charge of indecent exposure in California requires willful public exposure of one’s genitals with the specific intent to offend or sexually arouse,” LA-based lawyer Andrea Oguntula has told Page Six.

“It’s theoretically possible but unlikely she’ll face any criminal prosecution for this incident,” Oguntula added, noting it is down to the district attorney’s office to make that decision.
