Home Bargains has sent garden enthusiasts into a frenzy by introducing adorable new items on shelves. Although we’re still in February, shoppers can’t get enough of the ‘cute’ garden must-haves in anticipation of spring.

The store’s Jardin Artificial Grass range now includes topiary-style ornaments fashioned into charming animal shapes, such as a teddy bear and a puppy. These ornaments are priced at an affordable £19.99 each, a steal compared to similar items that fetch close to £70 elsewhere online.

These garden additions are described online as a “cute and easy way to add some fun to your outdoor space.” Standing at 45cm tall, the artificial topiaries are crafted from weatherproof and UV-resistant materials, designed to endure the unpredictability of British weather.

Currently, they have sold out on the Home Bargains website. This means customers’ only option is to try their luck in finding them in-store.

They caught the attention of the internet when savvy shoppers and Instagram users (@Homewithmrsk) posted about ornaments. She said: “How cute are these artificial grass bears and dogs!”

She showcased the sizeable ornaments on fully stocked shelves in the seasonal and gardening section at her local Home Bargains, reports the Mirror. The reaction piled in, particularly after Home Bargains shared her video with its 1.1 million followers.

One fan commented: “How cute would these look in between some flowers?!” Other fans couldn’t contain their excitement, with another writing: “OH MY GOD! I need one!” Another enthusiastic shopper warned: “Don’t tempt me back into that shop – I pretty much live there!”

A third said: “The dog one is so cute. I have a feeling these are going to sell out fast!” Someone else suggested: “Hopefully, they do some more animals soon. I’d really love a little kitty one of these!”

One viewer called Lorna asked, “Cute, but what do you do with them?” @Homewithmrsk responded, “I think they are for your garden as a feature; they are beautiful.”

Home Bargains recently made waves in other news with a show-stopping alternative to designer artwork. Rather than shelling out a whopping £970 for a Studio McGee painting, eagle-eyed fans of the discount store spotted a near-identical item for a mere £13.

On Instagram, interiors blogger Sophie Higgs—known as @Home_by_the_cloud—shared a video of the “absolute bargain” with her 376k followers. She proudly displayed the piece above her bed and declared it “the bargain of the year” so far.

Customers can browse new and trending products on the Home Bargains website to stay on top of the latest deals. While some items can be ordered for home delivery, most will need to be tracked down in-store.
