The search is on for a missing 15-year-old boy in Glasgow after he failed to turn up for school.
Kayden Thompson was last seen at around 8.50am on Tuesday, February 4, in the St Vincent Street area of the city. He is described as white, around 5ft 4in tall, of slim build, with short brown hair.
When he was last seen, he was wearing a black and white Nike hoodie, black Nike trousers, a black shiny puffer jacket, and carrying a black bag with a white North Face logo.
Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare and have pleaded for anyone with information of his whereabouts to come forward.
In an appeal shared yesterday, Kayden’s father said: “Not a post I ever thought I would have to make but if anyone has seen or heard from Kayden could you please contact myself, family or police. We are worried sick.
“He has been missing since this morning he failed to turn up at school. He was last spotted in St Vincent Street around 9.45am.”
Inspector Kevin Dougall: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Kayden’s welfare, and his family are understandably very worried.
“It is important that we find him as soon as possible to ensure he is safe and well. I would urge anyone who has seen Kayden or has any information on his whereabouts to contact police immediately.
“Kayden, if you see this, please get in touch to let us know you are safe.”
