A shoplifter is back behind bars after making threats while armed with scissors and a bottle.
Alexander Lennox, 44, was jailed for a year at Hamilton Sheriff Court.
He admitted stealing food from Scotmid in Neilsland Road and spirits from the Co-op in Mill Road, both Hamilton.
Lennox also admitted threatening a man with a bottle in the Co-op store and robbing a woman of food items after brandishing scissors at her in Neilsland Road.
His latest crime spree happened in September last year.
Lennox has a long criminal record that includes a two-year jail sentence for shoplifting, carrying knives and threatening behaviour, all at Asda in Larkhall in 2022.
