President Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump is set to host a new primetime show on Fox News, the network announced on Wednesday.
The 42-year-old former Republican National Committee co-chair — who’s married to Trump’s 41-year-old son, Eric — will anchor “My View with Lara Trump,” set to air Saturday nights from 9-10 p.m.
According to a press release, the weekly show “will focus on the return of common sense to all corners of American life as the country ushers in a new era of practicality.”
In addition to “big picture analysis,” Trump will interview thought leaders “shedding light on the headlines driving the national conversation and affecting families around the country.”
The former “Inside Edition” producer started hosting the conservative web series “The Right View” in 2020 and began contributing to Fox News the following year. She held the latter gig until 2022.
“I’m thrilled to bring my voice back to FOX News, talk directly with the American people, and highlight what makes this country so great,” the first-daughter-in-law said in the release. “As I cover the success of The Golden Age of America, I look forward to where this time will lead our country and where this opportunity will lead me in the future.”
The press release credits Trump, who served as the co-chair of the RNC from March to December of last year, with having played a pivotal role in Republicans sweeping the 2024 election, including her father-in-law’s reelection and the party winning both the House and Senate.
She stepped down from the RNC in early December, hours before confirming her political ambitions to replace Florida Sen. Marco Rubio upon his confirmation as secretary of state.
But by late December, about a month prior to Rubio’s confirmation, Lara announced she would no longer aim to represent the Sunshine State, citing “an incredible amount of thought, contemplation, and encouragement from so many.”
She teased that in January, she’d have a “big announcement.”
