UK audiences can finally enjoy a highly-acclaimed US comedy series for free.
The Sex Lives of College Girls, which initially premiered in 2021, follows four college roommates from diverse backgrounds as they navigate their sexual experiences and early adulthood on the campus of Essex College in Vermont.
The talented cast, including Pauline Chalamet as Kimberly, Amrit Kaur as Bella, Renee Rapp as Leighton, and Alyah Chanelle Scott as Whitney, offer unique and engaging storylines with a blend of humor and relatability.
All three seasons of The Sex Lives of College Girls, each featuring 10 entertaining episodes, are now available for free on ITVX.
The official synopsis reads: “The Sex Lives of College Girls follows four college roommates as they arrive at New England’s prestigious Essex College. A bundle of contradictions and hormones, these girls are equal parts lovable and infuriating as they live out their new, free lives on campus.”
Since its debut, the show has garnered a 97 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with fans praising it for its “compelling” and “fresh” take on young adulthood, reports Surrey Live.
Reviews in the media have also been full of praise, with Entertainment Weekly stating: “Created by Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble, Sex Lives shares the same sharp, smart, and sassy comedic sensibility as Never Have I Ever, while tackling a wider range of young-adult issues.”
The Washington Post also praised the series, saying: “The kind of show where pretty much every cast member feels like a find, and where the natural chemistry among the central foursome adds to the series’ easy-going appeal.”
Ahead of the third season of The Sex Lives of College Girls being released last year, actress Renee Rapp announced her departure from the hit show. While she does feature in several episodes as Leighton, Renee has moved on to other ventures including a role in Mean Girls the musical and dropping her debut album Snow Angel.
As of now, there’s been no word on whether a fourth season of the popular comedy will be commissioned.
