The skies over parts of the Central Belt, Tayside and the Highlands will be busier than usual as the RAF conducts training exercises across the region.
From today (Thursday) until Friday, February 21, RAF Chinooks and Pumas will be training out of Leuchars Aerodrome.
The aircraft will be operating across a variety of locations including the Central Belt, Tayside, and the Highlands.
Notifying residents ahead of the exercises, RAF Lossiemouth took to its social media channels. It posted: ” Depending on operational requirements, there may be the possibility of these aircraft operating at low altitudes and during irregular hours.
“Please share to those who may have to make arrangements for livestock, or to those who may be concerned at the increased military aircraft presence. We thank everyone for their continued support.”
