HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF/Gray News) – Authorities in Alabama say new evidence has prompted a missing person case involving a realtor to be upgraded to an active abduction.

Huntsville police said Ronald Dumas Jr. was last seen entering a liquor store with two women on Dec. 15, 2024.

He left the store with them and appeared unharmed.

However, police said as their investigation continued additional evidence has been uncovered.

“A further investigation confirmed their connection to Dumas and revealed additional evidence of his abduction,” a spokesperson for Huntsville police said.

Authorities said they have issued arrest warrants for the following people:

  • Quintarius Shikelion White, 32, of Memphis, Tenn., is wanted for first-degree kidnapping.
  • Toure Laron McLaurin, 33, of Memphis, Tenn., is wanted for first-degree kidnapping.
  • Sabrina Rochelle Chambers, 27, of Huntsville, Ala., is wanted for first-degree kidnapping.
  • Kierra Symone Clark, 27, of Memphis, Tenn., is wanted for conspiracy to commit kidnapping.
  • Carissa Cash, 33, of Memphis, Tenn., is wanted for first-degree receiving stolen property.

Huntsville Police said it obtained new evidence prompting the missing person case involving realtor Ronald Dumas Jr. to be upgraded to an active abduction.(Huntsville Police Department)

Huntsville police said they are working with the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force and others regarding the case.

“We are working closely with the U.S. Marshals Task Force and multiple law enforcement agencies across various jurisdictions to track down those involved,” the Huntsville Police Department shared. “With support from the FBI, we have followed credible leads and conducted large-scale search efforts to bring Dumas home.”

With assistance from the FBI, Huntsville police said a credible lead was developed that led to a 450-acre area south of Memphis and into northern Mississippi as a potential location for Dumas.

“The Huntsville Police Department deeply empathizes with the children, family, friends, and community members seeking answers in this case. Like all of you, we are committed to the same goal—finding Ronald Lesile Dumas Jr.,” the police department said.

Dumas shares children with Talia Berryhill. She says she just wants him back home.

“This has rocked us and we really wish we were taken seriously the first time,” Berryhill said. “We want him home. If you know something, say something. We need him back.”

Authorities urged anyone with further information to contact investigator Stephen Gibbs at 256-427-5448.

WAFF shared the following timeline regarding the disappearance of Dumas from information provided by authorities:

  • Dec. 15: Was last heard from by family
  • Dec. 16: Dumas’ vehicle was found abandoned on I-40 in Camden, Tenn and impounded by Tennesse Highway Patrol (THP)
  • Dec. 16: Dumas’ phone history shows his phone was traveling on I-40 just after 7 a.m. outside of Jackson, Tennessee
  • Dec. 17: Dumas is reported missing, Huntsville Police attempted to contact Dumas via his cell phones, but they were not on.
  • Dec. 18: THP learned that the vehicle they impounded was about a missing person.
  • Dec. 18: State troopers were dispatched to mile marker 133 (where Dumas’ car was abandoned) to search on foot for Dumas.
  • Dec. 19: HPD gathered more information about Dumas including requests for the location history of his cell phones to his cell service providers
  • Dec. 20: The lead investigator travels to Camden, TN to survey the location of mile marker 133 and look at Dumas’ vehicle.
  • Dec. 20: THP committed state troopers, a helicopter and two TBI agents to help search and collect information
  • Dec. 21: Dumas’ phone location was tracked heading south from Memphis, TN.
  • Dec. 22: The family of Dumas starts a search for a private investigator, and establishes reward money for information regarding Dumas’ disappearance
  • Dec. 29: The family of Dumas and volunteers search the area where his car was abandoned
  • Jan. 3: Family hosts candlelight vigil at Big Spring Park
  • Jan. 16: HPD reveals that Dumas was last seen with two women at a liquor store (confirmed to be MidCity Liquor located on University Drive)
  • Jan. 17: HPD confirms they are in possession of Dumas’ vehicle
  • Jan. 17: Dumas’ family releases still images of Dumas at the liquor store, the two women he was with were not shown in the images
  • Feb. 7: Case upgraded to active abduction
