Reality star Gemma Collins has blasted Nigel Farage over vile online posts by one of his Scottish candidates.

The comments by Reform’s Sandra Taylor Kirwood included calling the I’m a Celebrity star a “pig in knickers” and a “fat lump o s***e”.

Kirkwood, a candidate in the Kilmarnock North by-election, also ranted at “junkies” and called Prestwick a “s******e dump”.

The vulgar posts were made in 2016 when “The GC”, 44, was on Celebrity Big Brother. Kirkwood said: “I swear I would not get sick o kicking that Gemma Collins up n doon that hoose”.

And that it was a “shame they never stiched [sic] her gob shut” after Collins was taken to hospital after an injury on the show.

Speaking exclusively to the Sunday Mail, Gemma called for Kirkwood to be evicted from Reform.

She said: “She should be sacked immediately from Reform. The party shouldn’t allow a national treasure such as Gemma Collins who has contributed to the nation in times of despair, like lockdown, who was personally asked to be met by the King and Queen, to be abused like that.

“There is no place in Reform for such a person.

“I’m a lot tougher now and a lot of working in the industry is about a thick skin. My agent would say no comment but I’m sick of living in a no comment world.

“How can this person be allowed to be a politician in our country? And why would Nigel Farage want somebody so vile in his party? She hasn’t been asked to be met by the King and Queen, she’s not a national treasure.

“If someone has it in them to write such vile things about someone they don’t know they are best well away from politics.”

Along with slating the Dancing on Ice competitor, Kirkwood launched a tirade about drug addicts. She posted: “Totally ragin, why do I pay NHS and can’t get a simple course of antibiotics yet f***** junkies get everything.”.

Kilmarnock has a higher rate of drug-related hospit-al admissions than the Scottish average, with 364.

Kirkwood had claimed she wanted to “make Kilmarnock great again”.

SNP candidate Caroline Barton said: “These comments illustrate the toxic agenda of Farage’s party.

Scottish Labour MSP Carol Mochan said: “There is no place in our politics for these kind of grossly offensive comments.”

Just 40 minutes after the Sunday Mail contacted Reform about the posts they suspended Kirkwood as a member and withdrew her candidacy.

A spokesman said: “Reform UK Scotland expects and upholds highest standards for our candidates and elected officials.”
