Millionaire and darts prodigy Luke Littler, who clinched the world champion title at just 17 in January, has a unique way of unwinding. Rather than watching television, ‘The Nuke’ prefers to view clips of himself and his mate ‘AngryGinge’ playing EA Sports FC, previously known as FIFA.
“I don’t watch the telly – I’m just a YouTube or a TikTok guy,” Littler confessed to the Daily Star while promoting the Specsavers Best Worst Team campaign. “I usually watch the Sidemen. Sometimes, I watch us back on Pro Clubs, me and AngryGinge! “.
Pro Clubs is a feature in EA Sports FC25 that lets players create their own footballer and team up with friends for online matches. Littler is part of ‘Girth N Turf’, an online squad that’s even included football legend Wayne Rooney and UK rapper Aitch in games and streams.

Unlike many, the young star doesn’t find it awkward listening to his own voice. “Not really,” he admitted.
“Because it is very funny! ” Littler and Morgan Burtwistle, aka AngryGinge, have become tight-knit since rising to fame in the darts scene. The Warrington whiz kid’s rapid ascent was capped off by defeating darts heavyweight Michael van Gerwen in the PDC World Championship last month, reports the Mirror.
Despite having the means to lead a millionaire’s lifestyle, young darts sensation Luke Littler chooses to spend his downtime just like any other teenager. For his 18th birthday, he opted for a bowling celebration with pals, and when it’s time to relax, the Xbox is his sanctuary.
“It’s just a case of being at home. The Xbox, it’s always going to be there,” Luke shared, adding that streaming his gameplay is part of his routine as fans can watch him online. “So there’s always time to chill out and to come home and see my friends… FIFA is my favourite game because I’m live-streaming now. So people can watch it! “.

Touring doesn’t offer much downtime, “Usually it’s hotel, food, and then you’re off to the venue to play darts. The schedule is tight! So I just want to be in bed all day, but when we go out, we go and have a look around! ” But would Luke swap his fast-paced life?
Absolutely not, reflecting on his past year with enthusiasm. “I enjoyed it all! ” Expressing that last year brought new thrills and now, informed by experience, he looks forward to playing, especially citing Berlin for the Premier League of Darts and the excitement of visiting New York.
