(AP) – A protestor was tackled by security after running out onto the field of Super Bowl LIX during Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show.
The man appeared to unfurl some combination of the flags of Sudan and Palestine during Lamar’s performance, and then ran on the field with it before being dragged away by security personnel.
It was not immediately clear how the person got onto the field. The show continued without interruption and it did not seem as though the person was shown on the broadcast of Lamar’s performance.
