SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The Scottsdale Fire Department is responding to an incident reported Monday afternoon at the city airport that has closed down the runway.
A crash occurred on the runway and firefighters are currently assessing the situation, according to the airport.
According to the FAA, a Learjet 35A veered off the runway after landing and crashed into a Gulfstream 200 business jet on the ramp at around 2:45 p.m. It’s not yet clear how many people were on board.
