Paisley’s party scene is about to get a nostalgic shake-up with Club 30 launching at a popular nightclub.
Vienna’s Nightclub is set to bring back the golden era of clubbing but with a twist. This time, revellers will be letting their hair down in the afternoon.
Launching on Saturday, March 1, Club 30 will run as a weekly event every Saturday from 2.30pm to 7.30pm – offering a daytime clubbing experience for those who lived for Manneqins, Carnegies, the Institute and Talk of the Town but now prefer their socialising without the 3am finishes.
For those who remember Club 30 from its heyday, this is a true full-circle moment. The event will take place in the exact location where Club 30 once stood within the walls of what is now Vienna’s.
The Paisley venue says punters can expect the same electric atmosphere, classic anthems and a chance to relive unforgettable nights — just at a more sociable hour.
Venue manager Stephen Adams told the Paisley Daily Express the new offering is the perfect way for punters to get their fix of music and nostalgia all without the late-night struggle.
He said: “We’re really excited about the relaunch of Club 30. Having managed nightclubs in Paisley since the 90s, when clubbing was at its peak, it ticks all the nostalgia boxes, as well as being an exciting venture.
“Daytime clubbing is sweeping the nation, with events such as Disco Days, and what better way to bring Club 30 back to life, than an afternoon session.
“So, for all the ones partying hard back in the day, they can do it all over again; but this time be home with a takeaway by nine, and get a decent night’s sleep! Vienna’s and Blur will still be packed every weekend night so there will be no change there.
“Club 30 at Vienna’s is something different for the community, and hopefully it attracts visitors to the town; we’re looking forward to welcoming Club 30 guests, old and new!”
He added: “If you once danced your weekends away in Paisley a few decades ago, Club 30 is your chance to do it all over again – just with a little more energy left for Sunday morning. Get ready to dance, reminisce, and embrace the best of both worlds – epic nights out now in the afternoon.”
