The death of a 74-year-old woman in her Harlem apartment has been deemed a homicide a year later, police said Tuesday.
Police were called to Marie Nemorin’s apartment on Bradhurst Ave. near W. 149th St. in Harlem just after 1:05 p.m. on Feb. 23, 2024, cops said.
When they arrived, Nemorin was already dead in her home. A police spokesperson said Tuesday they had no further details on her death.
After the initial autopsy, further testing was required before a final determination could be made on her cause of death. The city Medical Examiner’s office later confirmed that Nemorin died from blunt-force trauma, according to a spokesperson.
There were no arrests as police continued to investigate the murder.
