A motorcyclist fought for his life for nearly a week after a horrific crash on a Queens parkway earlier this month, police said Tuesday.
Jian Trujillo, 38, was zipping west on the Grand Central Parkway approaching the 31st St. overpass in Astoria when he lost control of his 2003 Yamaha motorcycle around 8:50 a.m. Feb. 1, cops said.
As he veered off course, Trujillo slammed into a 2022 Toyota Highlander SUV heading in the same direction.
Trujillo was thrown from the motorcycle and onto the roadway, suffering numerous injuries, police said. Medics rushed him to Harlem Hospital, where he survived until his death Feb. 7.
The 27-year-old SUV driver remained on the scene and was not immediately facing charges.
Trujillo lived in Corona, according to police.
