A 15-year-old boy was shot and wounded in the Bronx on Tuesday, police said.
Gunfire rang out near the corner of Nereid Ave. and White Plains Road in Wakefield just before 4 p.m., cops said.
The teen was struck once in the leg and was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in stable condition.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the gunfire, but police are searching for two suspects who fled on foot following the shooting.
There were no immediate arrests.
