A Lanarkshire charity supporting youngsters has received a well-deserved financial boost thanks to kind-hearted locals.
The Miracle Foundation SCIO in Motherwell has been the beneficiary of some incredible fundraising efforts from Clyde Valley Housing Association, Coatbridge High School and Motherwell’s BellaMoo Lashes – and say the impact of the nearly £15,000 total donated will be “huge”.
The charity believes “every child should be able to reach their full life potential” and supports “children and young people who have experienced bereavement and trauma through counselling and arts therapies” as well as a safe space to recover and restore their mental and emotional health and wellbeing.
Tracy Donald, fundraiser at The Miracle Foundation, told Lanarkshire Live: “We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Clyde Valley Housing Association for their partnership in 2024 and their generous donation of £8,231.63.
“A special thanks also goes to BellaMoo Lashes, a local business that organised a wonderful brunch, raising £3000.
“Additionally, we are grateful to a group of entrepreneurial teens from Coatbridge High School who won £3000 as part of their YPI project.
“The Miracle Foundation relies on funding to continue serving our community, currently supporting hundreds of children each week in schools and 42 on a private basis.
“Donations like this have a significant impact on the work we do.
“When I say that words cannot fully express our gratitude, I truly mean it.
“I witness firsthand the difference this funding makes – and the lives it transforms.”
