Emergency services are currently attending a horror crash on the A90.

Crews raced to the two-vehicle collision near Laurencekirk at 10.20am on Wednesday. The road is currently closed in both directions.

It is currently unknown if there are any injuries. Images from the scene show multiple emergency service vehicles, including several cop motorbikes, fire engines and an ambulance helicopter in attendance.

Motorists have been urged to avoid the area.

A statement from Police Scotland reads: “The A90 near Laurencekirk is closed in both directions following a two vehicle crash at 10.20am on Wednesday, 12 February, 2025. The road is closed between Laurencekirk and North Water Bridge.

“Local diversions are in place and motorists should avoid the area if possible.”
