Armed police swarmed Liselotte Funcke School in Hagen, Germany, after receiving word that an armed teenager had appeared at the school to confront his ex-girlfriend on Wednesday.
The young woman is now safe, according to police.
A search has been launched for an individual in Hagen’s city centre. Speaking to Bild newspaper, a police spokesperson said: “The student in question is with us and is being questioned. We are now looking for a person in the city centre.”
It’s been reported that the male teenager, who is not a student at Liselotte Funcke School, is the girl’s former partner, reports the Mirror.
