Vacuuming the house can feel like an endless task when kids and pets seem determined to make mess just means you know you’ll be doing it again in no time.
That’s where robot vacuums come into their own as they can beaver away, lifting dust, debris and pet hair from the floors and carpets while you get on with something else on the to do list.
The eufy G50 Robot Vacuum Cleaner has been reduced by £60 on Amazon and is now £139.99 instead of £199.00.

This vacuum promises to lift daily dirt like crumbs and dust thanks to it having 4,000 pascals of suction power, which typically ranges from 2,500 to 5,000 pascals in most auto vacuums. The eufy G50 has 55 decibels of operating noise meaning it won’t become a nuisance if you’re on the phone or trying to relax.
It’s also fitted with smart navigation abilities which prevents it bumping into obstacles like chair and table legs. That means you won’t need to stop what you’re doing to rescue it. The 81mm depth means it can scoot under sofas or cabinets which are harder for you to get to, reports the Express.
Another feature is the active hair de-tangler which prevents its brushes from getting bound up with long hair, which helps to minimise maintenance and fuss. The eufy G50 also has its own docking station that it can return to automatically once it’s work is done.

You can pair it with your phone and even set a schedule for it to work via Bluetooth and it also works using Alexa. The gadget has racked up plenty of fans at Amazon, with 4.4 out of 5 stars averaged from over 9,500 customer reviews.
“It’s absolutely brilliant!” raved one five-star review. “We have hard floors through the downstairs of the house with rugs and doormats and 2 small dogs with white hair. We bring straw home in our boots from the horses and have muddy clothes and boots which we try to keep all in one place but it can get dirty. The eufy L60 SES deals with it brilliantly and takes itself back to its station, empties and cleans itself!”
“A couple of weeks in, and eufy has just become part of our life,” said another happy customer, adding: “Floors are clean, just clean all the time. Even the large rug by the back door that used to be covered in dog hair at end of each day, and hard to clean. Now it’s just clean.”
Another added: “Overall this is one brilliant machine, I find very little to fault and the floors have never looked so clean. I honestly can’t see the point in paying hundreds more for a Robot Vacuum when the Robovac is this good at the price. Highly recommended.”
Some reviewers admitted they found its navigation skills could fail, however. “It keeps getting stuck and can’t figure out how to get back to its charging station,” said one three-star review. “I’ve not had a single occasion where it manages to get back to its charging station.”
Another review mentioned this too: “In terms of navigation, it’s very poor, it will go over areas multiple times and sometimes even miss rooms. I’ve had the G30 and G40 and they both seem to do edge cleaning first, then focus on the main area inside the edges. This one I am disappointed with as it’s the latest model and it doesn’t seem to navigate properly.”

If you want more utility, the price does shoot up a little. The Shark Matrix Plus 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum Cleaner for £399.99 at Currys is a solid buy from a much-admired brand, and there’s also the Lenovo Robot Vacuum T1-s for £320.99 at Robert Dyas to consider.
