It wouldn’t be a proper Austin FC kit reveal without Matthew McConaughey.

AUSTIN, Texas — New season. New head coach. New striker. New kit.

Austin FC officially unveiled its new primary kit for the 2025 MLS season with just days until its home opener against Sporting Kansas City.

The club unveiled its “Heartbeat Kit” with a star-studded cast of Austin-based musicians Gary Clark Jr., Ray Benson and Jimmie Vaughan … and of course, actor Matthew McConaughey himself doing the voiceover.

“They might know of our legend across the globe, but our heart beats here,” McConaughey said in the video while flanked by La Murga de Austin.

The kit offers a new take on the traditional Austin FC Verde and Black set against a striped Verde base. The club’s primary crest sits on the front with a Verde and Black heart on the jocktag which the club says is inspired by supporters and the drum strike to start each home match.

Also on the front, Austin-based YETI continues to be the official jersey sponsor, however, Austin-based Siete Foods has also been added to the right sleeve of the kits.

You can purchase your “Heartbeat” kit now at The VERDE Store inside Q2 Stadium. You can also purchase the kits online through The Verde Van for in-store pick-up.
