You could be the proud owner of a stunning £4million mansion thanks to a prize draw backed by Scots superstar Brian Cox. The acting legend has launched the latest Omaze Million Pound House Draw, which will see one lucky person get the keys to an incredible four-bedroom house in Perthshire as well as picking up £250,000 cash.
Omaze has teamed up with Alzheimer’s Research UK for its latest draw, guaranteeing £1mil for the charity from the partnership. The beautiful house on the shore of Loch Rannoch comes mortgage-free with all stamp duty and legal fees covered.
The “truly tranquil” home offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area and boasts a tennis court and its own private stone jetty. There is plenty for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy, from hiking the iconic Schiehallion, to golfing or skiing, with courses and slopes in the Cairngorms and Highlands within easy year.

The meticulously-renovated 8,870sq ft house combines two cottages blending historical charm with modern conveniences. There are vaulted ceilings in both the spacious living room and the dining room. The bespoke kitchen has a large island, an oak-lined larder, and a drinks cupboard, with huge windows offering unrivalled views of the local scenery.
There are four double bedrooms upstairs and a summer house that looks over Loch Rannoch and features stained-glass windows salvaged from St Paul’s Newington Church in Edinburgh. A formal garden outside “blends perfectly” with the surrounding landscape.
Rannoch Train Station is just 14 miles away and has sleeper connections from London Euston six days a week, with nearby Pitlochry station also offering more rail connections.

Omaze estimate the £250,000 cash would enable the new owner to run the house for more than five years, if they decide to keep it. Its long-term rental value is gauged as £8,000-£10,000 a month, while selling the property would turn the lucky winner into an instant millionaire.
This is Omaze’s third partnership with Alzheimer’s Research UK, with £4.1mil previously raised. “Proud” ambassador Brian Cox said: “I’ve witnessed first-hand the destruction dementia causes. It robbed me of my brother and brother-in-law.

“There are almost one million people living with dementia in the UK. And if nothing changes, one in two of us will be affected by dementia in our lifetime, so there has never been a greater need to support Alzheimer’s Research UK. I’m thrilled they are partnering with Omaze and the money raised will make a huge difference to their vital work.”
James Oakes, President of Omaze, said: “Everyone at Omaze is thrilled to be partnering with Alzheimer’s Research UK again. By offering this amazing property in Scotland, plus £250,000 in cash, Omaze gives people the chance to win a life-changing prize, whilst also raising money for charities.”
