Helen Flanagan expressed her love for Scotland following a ‘much-needed’ staycation in Glasgow.
The TV star visited Glasgow for a break with her mum and three children – Matilda, Delilah and Charlie – and stayed at the AC Hotel by Marriott, which she described as “beautiful”.
Helen took to Instagram to share a snap of her and her son in matching pyjamas, captioning the post: “A Scotland break was just what I needed…”
The actress went on to explain that she booked the trip in January after a “not the best” month filled with “one thing after another”. She had said her mum “held the fort” with her two oldest children while she enjoyed some “lovely bonding time” with her son.
She declared her love for Glasgow, writing: “I love Glasgow and Scotland, I have only happy, gorgeous memories here and I find it relaxing, pondering around the west end and visiting Loch Lomond and I have so many special friends here.
“My life here was so calm, I think that’s why I like coming back so much.”
Helen lived in Scotland’s biggest city between 2016 and 2020 with her ex, former Celtic FC player Scott Sinclair. The pair were together for 13 years and were engaged to be married but ended their relationship in 2022.

Although the former Corrie star now lives in England, she frequently visits Glasgow and often speaks of her love for the city.
She previously shared that her one of her favourite restaurants was in Glasgow, stating: “I love the west end so much. I loved nothing more than going to Gorge cafes with Matilda in the pram. I went here @derbylane.finnieston with friends and it was amazing. Such a cool bar downstairs and unreal food.”
Her daughter Delilah was born in Glasgow in 2018, and Helen often refers to her as her “Scottish baby”.
