The body count in Emmerdale is rising rapidly following the tragic death of Suzy Merton in a recent car crash, which led to the discovery of a corpse at the bottom of the lake.
Adding to the grim scenes, another character has been declared dead en route to the hospital. With three fatalities so far, an additional three characters are battling for their lives as medical staff scramble to handle the surge in hospital admissions.
As reported by the Metro, who has chosen not to reveal the identity of the third casualty from the icy catastrophe – viewers will have to stay tuned to the gripping episodes, which promise more twists ahead.
Viewers have already been made aware that Liam Cavanagh took a turn for the worse while Amy Wyatt risked her life in the freezing water. Everyone has now been extracted from the fully submerged limo, and those left behind are mourning their losses.
Charity Dingle, who fears she may be partly responsible for the disaster, offered a heartfelt apology to a distraught friend worried about their loved one.

Meanwhile, Charity is fervently praying for her own son Noah to pull through after he was discovered unconscious in the woods.
The shocking revelation that Noah was drugged before ending up on the road raises questions about Joe Tate’s involvement. Could he be indirectly responsible for the lake tragedy?
This could potentially be one of Emmerdale’s most fatal incidents ever, with three characters already written out and three more in jeopardy.
The village will never forget this event. This follows closely on the heels of the murder of child abuser Anthony, recently killed off by Ruby Fox-Miligan.
It’s clear that while Emmerdale has always been fraught with danger, 2025 might just be its deadliest year yet.
