The Traitors star Mollie Pearce was the latest celebrity to be axed from Dancing on Ice following a tearful skate off.
Mollie went up against TOWIE star Dan Edgar in tonight’s skate off after they both landed in the dreaded bottom two, having received the lowest combined judges’ scores and public votes.
Sadly for Mollie, her journey on the popular ITV show has come to an end. During the judges’ vote – Oti Mabuse, Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill, and Christopher Dean – Dan received three votes to be saved, while only Oti cast her vote for Mollie.
Earlier in the night, Mollie had received high score’s for her performance with professional Colin Grafton – including three 9.0 scores and one 8.5. This prompted fans to take to social media, to claim the wrong person went home.
One fan was upset with the results taking to X, formally known as Twitter, stating: “Sad to see Mollie go,” along side a crying face emoji. As another said: “Every year the male celebs are clearly favoured and same for Strictly.”
While another claimed Mollie had been robbed, expressing: “Robbed…don’t bother with a final you may as well hand the trophy to Dan now…totally fixed!” with another fan agreeing writing: “Mollie was robbed … Dan is wooden and her performance was so much better …. Sad to see her go xx”
This comes after all couples preformed this weekend for a musical special, with the celebrities preforming routines from Oliver, Cabaret and Mamma Mia on the ice.
The episode saw its first 40 of the series, with retired footballer Anton Ferdinand achieving the perfect score – even leaving Oti in tears with his performance.
