RALIEGH COUNTY – FEMA Individual Assistance Joint Damage Assessments Teams will be surveying Raleigh County today in conjunction with the SBA, Raleigh County Office of Emergency Management and the West Virginia Emergency Management Division.

In a press release, from the Raleigh County Emergency Services Authority, Emergency Planner Tabitha Horn says the officials will be looking to validate storm damage from the February 15 weekend flooding and will be taking photos and writing reports.

The teams will be operating throughout Raleigh County today in marked vehicles or vehicles with emergency lights. The release says these assessments will only be taking place today.
