CCTV footage has been released capturing the final moments of Scottish businessman Campbell Scott before he vanished in Kenya while on a work trip.

An image from security camera footage appears to show the 58-year-old from Dunfermline, Fife, walking on foot in a car park dressed in a blue top with the Scotland flag emblazoned on the shoulder and shorts. Glasses are resting on the top of his head, and he has a few unidentified belongings in his hands.

It’s understood the image was captured shortly before his disappearance in Nairobi on Sunday, February 16.

Mr. Scott had been staying in the JW Marriott hotel with work colleagues for a conference in his role as a senior director at credit scoring firm FICO.

As reported earlier today, his body was discovered in a “sack” during searches in the Makongo forest, around 60 miles from Nairobi, on Saturday. A taxi driver and nightclub waiter are understood to have been arrested in connection with his death, according to The Times.

FICO, where Mr. Scott had worked since 2014, said they were “devastated” by the news.

“FICO can confirm that Nairobi police have identified the body of Campbell Scott, a FICO employee,” a spokesperson said. “Campbell went missing last Sunday while on a business trip to Nairobi. We are not sharing further details, as the investigation is in the hands of the police.”

Mr. Scott is understood to have visited a number of pubs and clubs before he disappeared.

“We are devastated by this tragic news. Campbell was a leader in our international Scores business. He joined FICO in 2014 and was instrumental in introducing Scores to new markets and growing our business with existing partnerships. We mourn his passing and will miss his humor and kindness.
