Laura Anderson has shared a clip from her emotional last message on the airwaves, following her announcement to step away from her role at Capital radio.
The former Love Island star, 35, became visibly upset during the clip alongside her co-host Fat Brestovci as she announced she would be focusing on other things in her life.
It comes after she previously admitted to finding it difficult juggling her role at the radio station alongside being a full-time mum to her daughter Bonnie, who she shares with ex partner Gary Lucy.
Posting a life update on her grid to her 1.5 million followers on Instagram, alongside a string of snaps of her and Bonnie, Laura shared the moment she announced on the airwaves she was stepping down.
“The past few days…. Apologies for so many long vids. It was just so nice to share my last link on Capital Breakfast with Bonnie and if you missed my announcement swipe along to fat gearing me up- apologies for the frog in my throat,” she captioned the post.
The Scots star joined Capital Scotland back in April 2024. Laura, who is dating Dundee footballer Clark Robertson, candidly opened up on the struggle to juggle work and home life when you have kids ahead of Bonnie’s first birthday in August last year.
Speaking to fans, she confessed that she often feels she is not reaching her ‘full’ potential as a parent as her daughter grows older.
The star became a mum for the first time when she welcomed little Bonnie in September 2023 with actor Gary Lucy, 42. The pair, who originally met on Celebs Go Dating in 2022, but broke-up shortly after Laura fell pregnant.
Laura and her new partner Clark, 31, became official in September last year. Uploading a snap of them both looking cosy in Ashton Lane in Glasgow in her own “hard launch” post of her new relationship fans were soon sent into a frenzy.
