Married At First Sight UK star Polly Sellman has revealed why she was noticeably absent from the explosive reunion episode.
The show, which aired on E4 on Monday night, brought together fan favourites from 2023 and 2024 for a country getaway, complete with a drama-filled dinner party and the infamous Honesty Box.
However, viewers were quick to notice that Polly was missing from the reunion, taking to Twitter, now X, to ask where she was.
One fan tweeted: “#MAFSUK where’s polly?”, while another wrote: “#MAFSUK where is Polly? !” Others expressed their disappointment, saying: “Shame Polly’s not at the reunion. #MAFSUK” and “gutted there’s no Polly #MAFSUK.”
Polly later took to Instagram to explain her absence, saying: “Seems fitting for everyone who’s asking me why I didn’t attend tonight.”
She continued: “I was also in Center Parcs when filming was, and I pulled out two days before because it just wasn’t the best decision for me at the time. I wanted to stay with my best friends who genuinely cared about the head space I was in at the time” accompanied by a heart emoji, reports OK!.
Polly also penned on Instagram before the reunion: “In light on the reunion ahead tonight at home in the UK, I’d like to remind everyone we were all in this journey together through each others ups and downs. It’s a journey only we will share with each other and no one else will come close to understanding.
“Some of the best memories I have, are with these people. And I wouldn’t of changed my journey or outcome for the world. A few of us chose not to attend tonight’s event for many different reasons, but to those that did, please remember to choose your words carefully when you come to social media before, during and after. And don’t forget, only WE know the truth in certain situations.
“We’re still human, and we’re still navigating life after this crazy journey. The love and respect I have for each and every person who’s ever participated on the show is wild, because it also shows we’re all as mental and brave as each other to put ourselves out there how we did, being our most authentic, vulnerable selves, and it took a lot for some people to go back to this second reunion.
“I hope you all enjoy the episode and remember to just be considerate and to be kind to those that participated.”
Polly, known for her stint on the E4 hit series alongside ‘husband’ Adam Valentine, recently left her followers in awe as she debuted a striking new look on Instagram.
The reality star, whose relationship with Adam didn’t pan out, has been keeping fans updated via social media since the show concluded. She also disclosed that she’s currently residing in Sydney, Australia.
