Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand appears to have hit another snag amid recent controversies. The Duchess has been preparing for the launch of her eagerly awaited cooking show on Netflix next week, but it seems fans will have to wait a bit longer to buy any products from her lifestyle brand, which is in partnership with Netflix.
‘With Love, Meghan’ is an eight-part series where the former actress will share hosting and entertaining tips that viewers can incorporate into their own lives, with the help of celebrity friends like actress Mindy Kaling, 45.
Alongside promoting her new show, the Duchess recently announced that her lifestyle brand America Riviera Orchard has officially been renamed to ‘As Ever’.
Meghan explained in an Instagram video that there were some issues with the original name of the company, which would have restricted her to selling products made in the ‘American Riviera’ – a term used to describe her home in Montecito, Santa Barbara county, California.

Meghan Markle has unveiled a new brand name that offers her greater versatility in the range of products she can market. She also revealed that she has teamed up with a high-profile “business partner” for the initiative – Netflix.
The streaming service is planning to launch physical stores named Netflix House across the US, where they will feature merchandise linked to some of their most popular series, and Meghan’s collaboration is reportedly part of this innovative project.
However, as reported by the American outlet Page Six, items from As Ever, including Meghan’s celebrated jam, are not expected to hit the shelves until “months” after her Netflix series debuts, reports the Mirror.

In her announcement, Meghan shared her enthusiasm for the venture, stating: “I’m thrilled to introduce you to As Ever – a brand that I created and have poured my heart into. ‘As ever’ means ‘as it’s always been’ or some even say ‘in the same way as always’. “
“If you’ve followed along since my days of creating The Tig, you’ll know this couldn’t be truer for me. This new chapter is an extension of what has always been my love language, beautifully weaving together everything I cherish – food, gardening, entertaining, thoughtful living, and finding joy in the everyday.”
Meghan Markle, who ran the popular lifestyle blog ‘The Tig’ before her relationship with Prince Harry became serious, closed the site as she prepared to become a full-time working Royal in the UK. According to patent applications filed in 2022, Meghan is anticipated to sell a range of products including dog biscuits, jams, candles, jewellery, tablecloths, and napkins.
