A Manhattan subway rider was slashed by a stranger during a clash over a seat, police said Wednesday.

Cops released a surveillance image of the suspect and are asking the public’s help identifying him and tracking him down.

The 33-year-old victim was seated on a downtown A train near the Fulton St. station when he was confronted about 5:45 a.m. Feb. 4, cops said.

As the quarrel over seating escalated, the attacker, who was wearing a black face mask, slashed the victim on his left hand with an unknown weapon.

The victim was treated at the scene for a cut on his hand. The assailant fled and has not been caught.

The suspect has a medium build, facial hair and light complexion. He was wearing a black facemask, red shirt and black jacket.
