PEMBROKE, N.H. (WFXT) – A New Hampshire community is outraged over a controversial video that was seemingly filmed in front of an area school.

In the video, an adult and a child are seen wearing masks standing next to a sign that read “Jesus Loves White Children.”

Parents in Pembroke have condemned such messaging in their tight-knit community.

“Who’s raising children like that? Why do they even have custody of children if they’re doing stuff like that?” Adrian Medina, Pembroke resident and father of three, said.

It’s unknown who created the video or even who posted it.

But a social media search reveals it is not the first time that message has been seen in New Hampshire.

“I was just completely disgusted and heartbroken,” another Pembroke parent said.

School officials said they are looking into the situation.

“School was not in session when this video was taken, and it was taken without the knowledge or permission of the Pembroke School District,” school officials shared in a statement.

Police in Pembroke said they have also been notified and are investigating.

“I think it’s disgusting, it’s inflammatory and it’s hateful,” Medina said.

An investigation remains ongoing.
