Amazon is often the place to head if you are in the market for a new TV. Whether it’s snuggling up to watch a movie with your partner or tuning into a series after work, we all want a top quality box to level up our viewing.
There are many on offer, but Amazon’s Fire TV is currently being raved about, with shoppers describing it as “excellent”. Some have even admitted they would “struggle to find anything better” for the price point.
The all-new Amazon Fire TV 43″ 4-Series 4K UHD smart TV has undergone a huge price drop from £429.99 to 249.99. That is a hefty 42 per cent slashed off the original price, making it a real contender for telly-lovers.
The popular Amazon Fire TV 4-Series is “now even better,” according to the retail giant. A new ultra-slim bezel puts your entertainment front and centre, while vivid 4K Ultra HD, HDR 10, HLG and Dolby Digital Plus bring scenes to life.
The Fire TV 4-Series offers “crisp picture quality, superior streaming and the magic of Alexa to everyday entertainment”. Enjoy a clearer and more vibrant picture with brighter colours with 4K Ultra HD, HDR 10 and HLG.

Fan of the Alexa? Use the the Alexa Voice Remote Enhanced to find, launch, and control the content of your choice. What’s more, you can even check the weather, sports scores, and more, making it a great gadget to have around.
Stream over a hundred thousand films and TV programmes, watch favourites with subscriptions to Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, and watch live and free TV, play video games and stream music.
Fire TV adds new Alexa skills all the time, like dimming the lights or viewing your camera, and if you are a gamer or music lover, the 4 HDMI input allows you to connect all your compatible gaming, cable and audio kit.
You can even hook up Bluetooth-compatible headphones to the TV for an intimate listening experience.
The five star reviews have rolled in thick and fast for the TV. One satisfied customer wrote: “Arrived promptly, easy to set up, picture quality is fine for the price I paid. Sound is OK too, but will pipe it through my amp’ and speakers.

“Interface is nothing exceptional but, again, for the price I have nothing to moan about. If you’re looking for a fairly big, sub 400 quid telly, then you should consider this item.”
However, updating their review after a week of owning the TV, the compliments grew ten-fold. The user added: “It’s even better! Getting this thing playing wirelessly through my Yammy amp was a breeze. My friends that have seen this in action are full of praise… You will struggle to find anything better for under 400 quid.”
Another consumer penned: “The picture quality is pretty good and the sound quality is very good. Easy to set up. Used a fire stick controller in the past so used to the button layout, although there are more buttons on this.
“Very happy with my purchase.”
A third gushed: “Excellent considering the price. Picture quality was better than I expected at this price and I didn’t find the interface particularly slow as others have reported. Setup was easy as were the automatic software updates. For the money… this represents exceptional value for the £230 I paid.”
A fourth agreed: “Very pleased with my TV and extremely easy to set up,” while a fifth concluded: “Love this TV… clear picture and looks good in a media wall”.
Not everyone was taken with the product, though. One user complained: “Picture lags, very distorted after adverts, turns itself off or goes to screen saver on its own”.
